This is the old Christchurch City Council building, I always liked it because of those curved corners. They had cool huge curved windows.
It’s been stripped bare now, just the concrete shell left to demolish.
I’m pretty sure this isn’t destined for restoration, as it had been closed many years pre-earthquake.
There was a group trying to raise funds for it to reopen, I guess they’ve given up now.
