I like this recent new style in the countryside; to shield paddocks and (mainly) houses from the busy main road noise and visual distractions, they make these mounds of dirt along the boundary.
They work especially well when little trees and shrubs are planted on the top of the mounds.
I love how the alpaca obviously has heard me sneaking up, and swivelled its ear almost backwards to listen.
