The most dangerous photo-op yet: I walked up to the fence and a few of these cows started approaching.
Good I thought, close-up friendly cow action.
Then they started a weird deep lowing… and then, pawing at the ground like in a bullfighting ring!
I snapped this one photo and then hurried back to the safety of my car, after noticing they were un-castrated bulls! A while ago I wondered why anyone would have a herd of unruly un-castrated bulls, as they must be rather hard to wrangle, but A. informed me that hamburger makers prefer “bully beef”, as it’s “stickier” for some reason, so I guess holds together better.
