Verdant Pasture

Verdant Pasture

Supposedly sheep are worth nothing these days – so maybe this paddock is just a person with HEAPS of pets?
And new lambs!

  1. That is a beautiful photo! Even if sheep are not worth much moneywise these days, that scene is typical of rural New Zealand. We live in a very beautiful country!

  2. Yes, you do! And why are sheep not worth it? I guess not to make a trade? But can’t you use them for your own purposes? Maybe in your own community? Err, maybe sheep are making a comeback, what with organic and local stuff?

  3. I cross my fingers that “sheep are making a comeback”. And after all, sheep,. and crops, ie, wheat, barley etc, (mostly organic,) are what have got us up and on our feet again, in this beautiful country of NZ..
